Subprocessors

VeriOp uses a small number of third parties to deliver the service. Each one that can access protected health information is bound by a written agreement at least as protective as our own Business Associate Agreement, as HIPAA requires of a business associate. All patient information stays in the United States.

The current subprocessor list is provided to customers and to prospects during security review. To request it, email support@veriop.ai with "security review" in the subject.

If your center requires advance notice of a new subprocessor as a contract term, tell us and we will include it in your Order Form.

Independent clinicians

When a patient obtains a clearance through the VeriOp marketplace, the licensed clinician who performs the evaluation receives that patient's information in order to treat them. That clinician is the covered entity for the encounter and is not a subprocessor; VeriOp acts as their business associate.
