SMS Program & Consent

What we send

VeriOp.ai sends two kinds of text message, both transactional. Patients who booked a telehealth clearance visit and opted in receive one reminder about 30 minutes before the visit starts. Licensed providers in the VeriOp network can receive an alert when a new clearance request is available to claim. We never send marketing or promotional text messages. Everything else — surgery-date reminders, fasting instructions, clearance results, document requests — goes by email.

Texts contain no health information

A patient reminder reads, in full: "VeriOp: your visit starts in about 30 minutes. Your provider will call or video you. Reply STOP to opt out." It carries no name, no procedure, no date, and no clinical instruction. Provider alerts carry no patient identity. Once a message is delivered, its record is deleted from our messaging provider's systems, so no message content is retained there.

How you opt in

Consent is collected on a web form with a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. Texting is optional and is never a condition of booking, paying, or using the Service. This is the checkbox patients see when they set up a VeriOp account after booking a telehealth clearance visit at veriop.ai/get-cleared:

Licensed anesthesia providers opt in separately in their dashboard settings with a checkbox reading "Text me when a new clearance request is available," also unchecked by default and not required to use the dashboard.

The forms below sit behind a booking or a provider login, so they are reproduced here exactly as they render. Each checkbox is unchecked until the person checks it, and the mobile-number field is where the person types the number texts go to.

Frequency, rates, and opting out

• Message frequency varies with your bookings; typically one text per visit.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further texts.

We do not share your mobile information

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number and opt-in are used only to deliver the messages you asked for, through the messaging provider that transmits them on our behalf.
